QUEEN MARY PACKAGE

Mary of Anjou is the older sister of Queen Jadwiga. First wife of King Sigismund of Luxembourg. As with her younger sister, it should be noted that Mary of Anjou was not Queen! She was crowned KING. At that time, the title of queen referred only to the king's wife. Queens were not crowned.

Queen Jadwiga is the only ruler in the history of Poland who is recognized by the Catholic Church as the country's patron saint. The original of the Book of Psalms translated into Polish has also been preserved to this day and is located in the National Library in Warsaw.
